How can I find hotels suitable for a family vacation?

When you are booking a hotel using our Travel On Spot website you can specify your search and filter hotels suitable only for a family vacation.

How can I find the lowest price of the chosen hotel?

The lowest price is always displayed at the top of the hotel description.

How can I change the search criteria?

You can change your search criteria on the top of the page by choosing your preferred country/city, date and number of guests.

How can I find the best hotel offers if there is more than one family travelling together?

You can search for up to 10 rooms at once on Travel On Spot website. Enter the number of rooms in the search bar and the system will automatically suggest the best offers for you. 

How can I search for budget hotels? 

On the Travel On Spot homepage, enter the search criteria then click 'Search'. On the Search Results page, under 'Sort by' select the type of accommodation (hotel, guest house, apartment, etc). The system will sort accommodation by specific type.

 

Requests

Where can I write my request for the hotel?

You can write your requests at the stage when you enter your personal data. ATTENTION! Your requests must be written in English. We commit to passing on your requests to the hotel. We cannot, however, guarantee that your requests will be fulfilled.

Where can I find the information if my requests are confirmed?

All special requests are passed on to the hotel and may be confirmed, if possible. However, we recommend you to remind the hotel staff about your special requests when you arrive at the hotel. 

Can I specify where I would like my room be located (preferred floor, next to the pool, etc.)?

If you want to book a hotel with a particular location of the room, please see all offers you have chosen as accommodation. If you cannot find a room with specified location such as sea view, garden view, pool view, etc, please mark as a note for the hotel in the Additional information field. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by Travelonspot.com. We  will forward your request to your preferred hotel upon receipt.

Can I add an extra bed or baby cot in my room? 

Yes. Please contact our Travel On Spot consultant who will help you to make changes of your reservation. Most of the hotels will charge for an additional bed.

Can I choose what type of bed I want? 

When you make a booking please have a look if there is a possibility to order a room with a particular type of bed. If you cannot find  anything suitable, you can write a special request for the hotel  in the Additional information field. Please note that all the special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by Travelonspot.com. We  will forward your request to your preferred hotel upon receipt. Please follow up with the hotel upon arrival.

Can the hotel store my luggage before check-in or after check-out? 

More information about a luggage storing  can be found in the Description of the hotel. Most of the hotels provide a luggage-storing service both before check-in and after check-out either with or without a charge.

Can I ask the hotel to give me a non-smoking or smoking room? 

You can write a special request for the hotel  in the Additional information field. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by Travelonspot.com. We  will forward your request to your preferred hotel upon receipt. Please follow up with the hotel upon arrival.

Where can I find a list of prices for the extra facilities?

Travel On Spot cannot submit the prices of extra facilities because their are a dynamic exchange, and are subject to individual hotel policy. For more details, please contact the hotel directly.

How can I find only those hotels that have availability for my trip?

Travel On Spot shows you only those hotels that have available rooms for your preferred dates.

 

Payment

Can I pay for my reservation in cash? 

To ensure a competent service and full support to our customers, in exceptional cases, we can provide an opportunity to pay in cash for your reservation. We highly reccomend you to contact our call center in any precision of the payment.

When do I have to pay for my booking?

The payment has to be made after confirmation of your personal data.You have 30 minutes to enter personal data and make a payment after requesting a booking.

Can I make a payment by using another person‘s credit card?

Yes. You can pay by different kind of credit cards. The payer does not have to be the person who is using an accommodation facility.

Are there any other payment methods besides credit card?

Travel on Spot currently accepts payments made by credit card, PayPal and installments. If you do not find a suitable way to pay, please feel free to contact our call center and they will find the best payment option for you.

Can I pay according to my bank's daily transfer limit?

After you are transferred to the payment, you will be able to choose the bank. You have two options to make complete your reservation succesfully; you can pay the full amount, or according to your bank's daily transfer limit and the system will automatically redirect you to online banking. If you choose the second option of payment, following an order by email you will receive a link for a further payment.

IMPORTANT! Further payment has to be made by using a link wich you will have been sent to your email.

Can I make a reservation without any payment?

The reservation is active only after a payment. If you want to book accommodation but you do not have any way of paying, please feel free to contact our call center and they will find the best payment method according to your situation.

Is there a possibility to get an invoice?

Yes. If you want to get an invoice please tick  Additional information and write all the details of your company.  We will send you an invoice immediately after your trip.

How I will receive an invoice?

We will send you an invoice to the selected leader of the reservation who has received all documents related to your booking.

What do I have to do if my credit card was declined?

If your credit card has been declined while making a reservation, please contact your bank directly.

Can I make a payment by using  another person's credit card if I have daily limit on my bank account?

Yes. You can make the first payment using your own bank account and the remainder you can pay with a different person's credit card. Be sure that you are using the right link to complete your payment.

 

Confirmation and status

When do I get a confirmation email? 

The reservation is confirmed after you make a payment. We will send you a confirmation letter with all the the necessary documents.  You can also check your booking history by logging in to your online account via the website.

Where can I check my booking details and status? 

You can check your booking status by logging in to your online account via Travel On Spot.

Can I check in without the hotel voucher?

To make a registration at the hotel you have to hold a voucher and identity card or passport. If you do not present the hotel voucher you may experience problems checking in.

Can you resend the hotel voucher to me? 

Travelonspot.com now provides you with this self-service option. By logging in to online account you will be able to print out your hotel voucher.

How do I know if Travel On Spot received my reservation?

After you complete your payment, we will send a confirmation letter with all the necessary documents. You will also receive a unique registration number which improves your booking. You can check your booking history by logging to online account via the website.

I have submitted my booking and have not received my hotel voucher. What should I do? 

In most cases, when a reservation is made you will receive a confirmation letter with all information and documents. If you have not received any letter from Travel On Spot, please log in to your online account and check the status of your reservation. Otherwise, you are always welcome to contact our call center at any time. 

What do I have to show to the hotel when I check in? 

You need to present the hotel voucher and a valid passport or identity card.

What is the hotel voucher? 

The hotel voucher indicates that you have a confirmed a booking with Travelonspot.com. It is a PDF attachment sent to you along with the confirmation email. It must be presented to the hotel at the time you check in.

 

Changes

I want to change my booking dates, how do I do this?

Travelonspot.com now provides you with a self service option. If you want to make any changes, please log in in to your online account and cancel your reservation. Make sure that you will not have to pay a cancellation  fee.  After you cancel your booking you will be able to make a new reservation. ATTENTION! We highly recommend viewing available offers at this moment before you make any changes to your existing reservation.

What is the amendment charge?

Travel On Spot does not have any amendment charge. If you want to make any changes, please log in in to your online account and cancel your reservation. Make sure that you will not need to pay any cancellation  fee. After you have cancelled your booking, you will be able to make a new reservation. ATTENTION! We highly recommend viewing available offers at this moment before you make any changes to your existing reservation.

Can I change the names on my reservation?

If you wish to change the names of the travellers, you must cancel your previous reservation and make a new one. Make sure that you will not need to  pay any cancellation fee. ATTENTION! We highly recommend viewing available offers at this moment before you make any changes to your existing reservation.

How do I extend my stay?

If you wish to extend your stay, please create a new booking for the period you wish to extend on the website. Usually hotels automatically arrange the same room so there is no need to change the room for the additional days.

Can I add rooms to my hotel reservation?

If you want to add rooms to your reservation, please log in to your online account and  submit a new booking for additional rooms. By making a new reservation you will be able  to write your previous reservation number as additional information for the hotel . ATTENTION! Please make sure that your notes for the hotel are written in English. Otherwise, the hotel will not be able to fulfill them.

Can I change my hotel after a reservation has been made?

To change hotel you need to cancel your original booking and make a new booking. Please note that any cancellation is subject to the hotel cancellation policy. Any new booking is subject to availability. The original booking needs to be cancelled first and when you will be able to make a new reservation. Cancellation

Where can I find the information about the cancellation policy?

Below each booking you will be able to see the date which allows you to make a hotel cancellation without any extra charge. Each hotel has different terms of cancellation in this case we highly recommend to get acquainted with your hotel policy. The specific information relevant to your booking will also be included in your confirmation letter and  on your Travel On Spot online account.

When will I get my refund for the cancellation? 

It depends on your chosen payment type, but in any case no longer then 10 business days after the cancellation was made.

How can I cancel my booking? 

If you want to make any changes to your booking, please log in in to your online account and cancel your reservation. Check that you will not be paying a cancellation  fee.

How do I calculate the correct cancellation date? 

You can find your cancellation policy by logging in to your Travel On Spot online account. The cancellation dates are based upon normal local check-in time.

How do I know if my booking has been cancelled?

After you cancel your reservation you will receive a letter with confirmation about the changes you have made.

 

General questions

Can I make a booking for a check-in date of the same day on the Travelonspot.com website? 

Yes. This is possible as long as the room is available on the Travelonspot.com website when you make a search.

Is it possible to book a hotel for a minor?

Travelonspot's services are intended for adults (18 years  of age or older). The use of the services by persons under 18 years shall be only permitted under the legal care of parents, guardians or caregivers and their consent. Travelonspot shall be entitled to delete the information received from persons under 18 years old and cancel the bookings placed by such persons upon receiving the information that these persons used the services without the authority of parents, guardians or caregivers.

Where can I find the address of the hotel?

You can see the hotel address at the top of chosen accommodation information page on travelonspot.com. You can also double-check location by using an online map. It is also inlcluded in your booking confirmation email.

When is check-in and check-out time at the hotel?

The beginning of a hotel night on the arrival day is 2 PM – 6 PM; the end of a hotel night on the leaving day is 10 AM – 12 PM. On the last travel day the hotel room shall be vacated by noon, 12 PM. Hotel management team will inform you about the exact conditions of check-out.

What should I do if I was not satisfied with my service?

If you think your booked services were not provided, or provided improperly, the claim shall be made in writing to the hotel administration during your stay, as the disagreements are likely to be resolved and eliminated on the spot.

Is there any additional charge for children when sharing a room with their parents? 

Most of the hotels allow children to stay in the room with parents either with or without an extra bed. The normal hotel policy is not to charge for children if they are under twelve years of age. Otherwise, the meaning of “child” can be understood differently in each hotel. When searching for accommodation please correctly indicate the age of your children and our system will calculate the total price according to all the guests. Be aware that some hotels may not allow children to stay in a room separately.

Where can I find information about the facilities provided by the hotel?

The information about the hotel facilities can be found in the description chapter. After your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive a letter with the same information to your email.

Is it possible to add catering after a booking has been made?

If you want to add  additional catering after your reservation has been made, please inform a member of reception staff before your arrival. You can make an extra payment there.

Where can I find information about parking at the hotel?

You can find the information about parking in the hotel description on Travel On Spot. You can always “Sort by” your seach by choosin “Hotels with parking”.

Is there a possibility to receive a documents in more than one email?

During your booking you are able to choose just one leader who will receive all information related to your booking.

Can we get any discount for a group booking?

You can search for more than 10 rooms at once on Travel on Spot. Please indicate the number of rooms you need in the searching process. If you want to book more than 10 rooms, please contact  Travelonspot consultants and submit this request directly. This may be done over the phone or by email to info@travelonspot.com. After the review of request, the consultants will contact the user about the possibility to perform the desired booking for more persons. In some cases the user may also be required to enter into a written agreement and/or pay a non-refundable deposit for bookings placed for more persons.

How can I book a late check-out in ahead?

Late check-outs are subject to room availability, and therefore cannot be guaranteed by travelonspot.com, and are usually not free of charge. We recommend informing a receptionist before arrival.

Where can I find information about my reservation?

For more information, please log in to your online account via website. If you are not already registered, you will receive all information to your email once we have received the information from the hotel.

How do I know if the hotel allows pets? 

When making a search you can choose “Pets Allowed” in the facilities section to help you with your search. Hotels will also provide this information in the “Facilities” section on the hotel description page displayed on the website.

I have chosen a hotel with breakfast but I do not want it. Can I remove this charge?

For all room rates that are inclusive of breakfast, there will be no reduction in the rates should breakfast not be consumed. If you want to book accommodation without breakfast, please sort while searching by not choosing catering.

 

Prices and discount

Why has the room rate changed? 

Our hotel partners have the ability to change rates and promotions at any time. Market conditions, changes in strategy and availability are just a few reasons why you may experience this rate fluctuation.

Are your hotel rates per room or per person?

Our hotel prices are per room for the whole stay, however the prices depend on the number of guests. When booking a hotel, you will be asked to enter the number of persons (adults and children).  It is important to enter the correct information in order to get a accurate price.

What does the price include?

All the facilities listed under the room type are included in the room price. All prices of accommodation establishment services on the travelonspot website are indicated for a unit of accommodation (room, apartments etc.) for the entire stay, including VAT and any other taxes, unless the website or confirmation email sent to the customer specifies otherwise.  Please also note that the accommodation service price does not usually include the supplementary services provided in the specific accommodation establishment (for example, mini bar, laundry, SPA, sports, sunbeds and sunshades, towels by the pool/sea, safe, air conditioning and similar services).

Is there any discount for children?

Most of the hotels have a special price for children. We recommend correctly indicating your children's age and the system calculate the total price accordingly.

What kind of discount I can get by booking on Travel On Spot?
