The World‘s Most Unique Hotels: Plastic Bubbles in the Depths of the French Forests

The rooms of the Attrap'Rêves Hotel, located in a forest in France, look just like plastic bubbles. Translated from French, the name of the hotel means “dream catcher”, and local designers advertise these “bubbles” as the most exciting adventure for lovers in search of romance and unique experiences.

These bubbles were drafted by the French designer Pierre-Stéphane Dumas. Settling down in such a room will make you feel as if you’re a part of nature, even though you’re really in a cosy and warm room.

The transparent bubbles of Attrap'Rêves is an illusion of life in the wild – they allow people to feel like they exist in the room and in nature at the same time. Here you’re more likely to wake up due to squirrels jumping around than from your alarm clock. Sleeping in these bubbles under the sky is pure pleasure – the stars of the night sky will be your ceiling. If you want to learn about constellations, the hotel’s personnel rents its guests telescopes and sky maps free of charge.

During winter, the standard package for two with breakfast is 109 EUR, and 139 EUR in the summer. If you would also like to use the massage baths, the price would jump to 169 and 199 EUR, respectively.
